I've been pretty happy with StopTech Street Performance and a road/occasional track solution.

Cool. the stock brakes are more than adequate for track use (13.5" up front), so if I decide to keep this car longer then I'll switch brake fluid and SS brake lines.

You should definitely get high-temp brake fluid. Boiling OEM fluid is probably the most common reason first-timers have trouble at the track.
